VISEO’s general counsel at the forefront of the AKC acquisition

VISEO, the leading French digital consulting and business transformation company with a particular focus on transforming finance functions, has completed the acquisition of the entire share capital of AKC Advanced Knowledge Consulting.

For more than 25 years, VISEO has supported companies in their digital transformation. Since 2017 it has expanded into an international group with offices in more than 20 countries, and with this deal VISEO now enters the Italian market. Founded in 1986, AKC is a consulting firm specializing in the digitalization of the finance function and in corporate performance management, with a presence in North America and the Nordic countries as well.

On VISEO’s side, the deal was overseen by Eric Perrier, CEO, Alexandra Bardiot (pictured), General Counsel, Sonia Mena-Rouges, CFO, and Marie-Clotilde Mangé, Chief HR Officer.

The external advisors

CastaldiPartners advised VISEO throughout all phases of the transaction, with a team led by Gaspare Dori and comprising Irene Malusà, Carola Dalla Riva and Ethan Eff on corporate law matters. Sarah Barutti and Caterina Zerbi handled the labor law aspects, while Vivian Grace Chammah covered intellectual property matters. On the financial side, the VISEO group was assisted by Audirevi Transaction & Advisory, through Andrea Moresco, Giusy Romano, Andrea Farioli and Alessandro Marcassoli.

Gelmetti Studio Legale Associato advised the sellers, with a team made up of partners Pierfrancesco Gelmetti and Lorenzo Colletti on corporate law matters, and Of Counsel Federica Malerba on labor law matters, while the financial aspects of the transaction were handled by Studio Terigi Rossi & Associati, through founding partner Luca Rossi.

The notarial aspects of the transaction were handled by notary Margherita Vanoli, while Cordusio Fiduciaria managed the escrow arrangement in favor of the buyer.
