UK infrastructure giant Balfour Beatty names new CFO

Global infrastructure group Balfour Beatty, based in UK, has appointed Myles Westcott (pictured) as Chief Financial Officer. He will take up the role following the company’s Annual General Meeting on 7 May 2026.

The appointment follows a structured succession process. Outgoing CFO Philip Harrison, who has held the position for over a decade, will step down from the board but remain available as an adviser for four months to ensure a smooth handover.

As CFO, Westcott will oversee financial planning, management control, reporting and risk management, functions that carry particular weight in an industry defined by large-scale, long-term capital commitments.

Balfour Beatty operates across roughly 27,000 employees worldwide, designing, building, financing and maintaining critical infrastructure. Its project portfolio includes Hinkley Point C nuclear power station in the UK, the Lyric Theatre in Hong Kong, and the Automated People Mover at Los Angeles International Airport.
