Global Fashion Group, Tilman Wink is the new general counsel and company secretary

Global Fashion Group has appointed Tilman Wink (pictured) as general counsel and company secretary, effective 15 June. In the role, Wink will lead the legal function of the global fashion e-commerce group.

Announcing the move on Linkedin, Wink said: “Very excited to share that I will be joining the Global Fashion Group as General Counsel & Company Secretary as of June 15. Leading the legal function in this truly global business is an incredible opportunity. I look forward to contributing to the Company’s continued success together with my future colleagues!”

Wink joins Global Fashion Group after serving as general counsel at CTS Eventim, a position he held from April 2024. Before that, he spent more than five years at Signa Sports United, where he was general counsel and chief compliance officer. During his tenure, he advised on the company’s de-SPAC transaction and listing on the New York Stock Exchange in December 2021, as well as on several acquisitions, including Wiggle CRC, Tennis Pro, Midwest Sports Supply and Tennis Express. He also oversaw the development of the group’s legal team and the implementation of compliance tools across the business.

Earlier in his career, Wink spent almost seven years at Baker McKenzie as senior counsel, advising on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions and capital markets matters, including the IPO of Uniwheels on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. He previously worked as counsel at Simmons & Simmons, focusing on international M&A and capital markets transactions.
