Roche appoints Luc Van Driessche head of compliance for Europe North & South

Roche has appointed Luc Van Driessche (pictured) as Head of Compliance for Europe North & South, a role he will hold from July 2026 through March 2027.

Announcing the appointment on LinkedIn, Van Driessche said he’s “excited” to take on the new responsibility and thanked Meredith Kennedy, Jenny Lux, John Alexander Gregorio and Pascale Schmidt for their trust. He also said he looks forward to supporting Oliver Bleck and Ehab Youssef in driving strong regional performance while maintaining the company’s high ethical standards.

Van Driessche has been with Roche since 2017, most recently serving as Head of Compliance & License to Operate in Belgium, where he has overseen healthcare compliance, data privacy, legal, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, pharmacovigilance and related governance functions as a member of the affiliate leadership team. During his tenure, he also completed a global rotation as Senior Compliance Leader for Personalized Healthcare.

Before joining Roche, he spent more than seven years at Amgen in senior compliance, regulatory affairs and data privacy leadership roles, following earlier positions of increasing responsibility in regulatory affairs, pharmacovigilance and quality at Janssen-Cilag.
