Edmond de Rothschild, Joanna Kaye is the new group chief risk officer
Edmond de Rothschild has appointed Joanna Kaye (pictured) as its new Group Chief Risk Officer (CRO), a newly created position that reflects the group’s continued focus on strengthening enterprise-wide risk governance. Based in Geneva, Kaye will join the Group Executive Committee and lead the definition, oversight and execution of the firm’s global risk management framework, separate from its compliance and legal leadership functions.
Kaye brings more than 25 years of international experience across risk management, banking supervision and executive leadership. She joins Edmond de Rothschild after more than 12 years at Lombard Odier Group, where she held several senior positions, including Deputy Group CRO, Chief of Staff and, most recently, Strategic Project Director. Her career also includes leadership roles at Barclays Wealth Management and Coutts, where she oversaw operational risk, wealth advisory and strategic transformation initiatives.
In announcing the appointment, Edmond de Rothschild highlighted Kaye’s “deep expertise and clear strategic vision,” noting that her extensive experience will support the group’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards of risk management in an increasingly complex regulatory and market environment.
