Axiology names Galdikas to lead legal and regulatory strategy
Vilnius-based fintech Axiology has expanded its leadership structure by appointing Aurimas Galdikas (pictured) to the newly established role of Chief Legal Officer, as the company looks to reinforce its legal and compliance operations.
In the position, Galdikas will take charge of the group’s legal affairs, regulatory oversight and corporate governance activities. His remit will also include licensing matters, legal risk supervision, regulatory disclosures and support for strategic development initiatives.
Before joining Axiology, Galdikas served at ILTE Lietuva, Lithuania’s state development bank, where he advised on issues linked to investment funds, structured finance and capital markets regulation. Prior to his time at ILTE Lietuva, he spent over a decade at the Bank of Lithuania, where he worked mainly on legal matters tied to banking, investment management and financial market operations. Earlier in his career, he held a senior legal position at the Lithuanian Securities Commission focused on investment services and funds.
Axiology provides a regulated distributed ledger technology (DLT) infrastructure designed for the trading and settlement of tokenised securities across Europe. The company additionally operates cross-border securities depository services within the European Economic Area.
