DHL Group, Sabine Reith steps into top legal AI governance post
Sabine Reith (pictured) has taken on a new role at DHL Group. Effective July 2026, she has been appointed Vice President and Head of Global Legal AI Governance.
In her new position, Reith will lead the development of a globally consistent and scalable approach to AI governance, with the aim of positioning the legal function as a key enabler of responsible innovation. She will work closely with Compliance, IT and business teams to translate evolving regulatory requirements into practical solutions supporting the group’s digital transformation and sustainable growth.

Reith joined DHL in 2013 and has held several roles within the legal function. Since 2023, she has served as Senior Legal Counsel, Global IT Legal Services, and since 2025 as Senior Legal Counsel, Global Digital Legal Services, at Deutsche Post DHL. Previously, she was Senior Expert Global Data Protection/Legal Services and, before joining the group, she held positions at Sometec Software AG and Bartsch & Partner.
