Philipp von Hülsen leaves legal to lead Boehringer Ingelheim Finland

Philipp von Hülsen (pictured) has been appointed General Manager and Head of Human Pharma at Boehringer Ingelheim Finland, effective June 2026.

Von Hülsen joins the Finnish business after nearly six years leading the Legal & Compliance team at Boehringer Ingelheim’s Regional Center Vienna. In a Linkedin post, he said he was “grateful for the trust placed in me” and looked forward to working with colleagues and healthcare partners in Finland to bring innovative treatments to patients.

He joined Boehringer Ingelheim in 2013 as Senior Legal Counsel and subsequently held several leadership roles in Legal & Compliance, including Head of Legal & Compliance for the MIDI region and Head of Legal & Compliance RCV. Prior to joining the company, he was a partner at Taylor Wessing.
