OnlyFans has hired longtime Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom partner David Eisman (pictured) as its new General Counsel, according to reports by Bloomberg Law. He is expected to join the London-based platform in the coming weeks.
Eisman, who has spent around 20 years at Skadden, currently leads the firm’s media and entertainment practice and is also a member of its M&A and investment management groups.
His practice spans media and entertainment, music, gaming, technology and retail, among other sectors. He also advises on family office and fund formation matters and has experience counseling clients on issues involving NFTs.
During his tenure at Skadden, Eisman has advised on a number of high-profile transactions, including the $1.6 billion sale of DreamWorks Studios to Paramount Pictures in 2006, as well as Shamrock Capital’s acquisition (worth over $300 million) of master recordings for the first six albums of Taylor Swift in 2020.
