Windward Bio appoints Johannes Huebler as head of legal
Johannes Huebler (pictured) has joined Windward Bio as Head of Legal, based in Basel, Switzerland.
Huebler brings extensive experience in the life sciences sector. He joins the company from Novartis, where he spent nearly five years in a series of increasingly senior roles, most recently serving as Head Data Privacy, Digital & AI Compliance Switzerland & Germany. Prior to that, he was Head Data Privacy, Digital & AI Switzerland and Legal Counsel EMEA. Earlier in his career, he worked as legal counsel at Roche and as an associate in the life sciences practice of Dentons.
His appointment comes as Windward Bio continues to advance its pipeline and strengthen its organizational capabilities. The company is focused on developing innovative therapies for immunological diseases and operates from its headquarters in Basel, one of Europe’s leading life sciences hubs.
